From my early years as a graphic designer, photography was already closely connected to my creative work. I had the opportunity to work with photographer Tassos Schizas on the design and production of Photoeidolo, a Greek magazine dedicated to artistic photography. Later, I became a member of his photography group, taking part in photographic journeys, exhibitions and creative explorations. During those same years, I also met Professor George Katsangelos, through my work on the design and production of exhibition catalogues for his students and for his own photographic work. These experiences brought me even closer to photography and gradually made it an important part of the way I observe and understand the world around me. When I moved to Sweden, photography took on a new meaning. In a country that was completely new to me, my camera became a way of discovering my surroundings, the architecture, the colours, the light, the people and the small details of everyday life. Through photography, I began to build my own relationship with Stockholm. I walked, observed, discovered and photographed a city that was initially unfamiliar, but which I had chosen to make my home. These photographs are part of that journey, my personal way of getting to know Stockholm and, little by little, making it my city.
