Stockholm Through My Eyes

Visual Diary

My first photography exhibition in Stockholm.

Presented in collaboration with Husby Konst & Hantverksförening, Visual Diary brings together 29 photographs capturing my personal view of Stockholm its people, architecture, nature, colours and everyday moments.
For me, this exhibition is a visual diary of discovering a new city and gradually making it my home.

Quiet by the Water

18 August 2026 · Skeppsbron

One afternoon after work, instead of taking the metro, I decided to walk through the city centre for hours. I enjoyed the small moments, the people and the sea that I love so much.

Under the Blue Sky

26 August 2026 · Hovet

After a day of work in Farsta, I decided to get off at a stop I had never visited before. Among everything I discovered, the striking form of the Avicii Arena stood out. Beneath the vivid blue sky, the light performed its own small miracle once again.

A Touch of Yellow

31 May 2025 · Hammarby, Upplands Väsby

Three families gathered that day for a barbecue and invited me to join them. It was the moment I realised that they had opened not only their homes to me, but also their hearts.

Wrapped in Colour

29 May 2025 · Morpheus

During one of our first walks around Stockholm, Alex and Nonika were showing me the beauty of the city. Among everything I saw, I stopped to admire the enormous colourful ribbon wrapped around the shop window.

A Sign Above the City

21 June 2026 · Caffè Nero, Slussen

On a rainy day, while travelling to meet Greek friends for our usual coffee, I noticed the red Coca-Cola sign standing out above the city. A familiar symbol discovered along an everyday journey.

Under the Bridge

25 June 2026 · Södertälje

My first visit to an area I had never explored before. Once again, I was struck by the small details hidden within citie like this beautiful piece of graffiti beneath a bridge.

Light in a Glass

6 March 2026 · Husby Konst & Hantverksförening

A glass of water at my favourite neighbourhood café a place that teaches me what it means to live with art. Because even in black and white, light can create an image of its own.

Small Encounter

May 2026 · Husby

An unexpected visitor in my room. Small as it was, and small as my room may be, the visit felt important because it reminded me that we must always remain creative.

Framed City

16 July 2026 · Loket

The architecture becomes a natural frame for the city. The repetition of forms and the sense of depth guide the eye from the dark interior towards the light and movement of the street.

Summer Fields

22 August 2026 · Kista

Dimitris came from Uppsala to Husby and, after our coffee, we took a beautiful walk towards Kista. Twenty minutes of walking and talking about Stockholm and its beauty, with the summer fields stretching around us.

After the Rain

13 May 2025 · Barnvägen, Bromma

That day, I was on my way to visit my friend Anna in Bromma. It is always a wonderful journey, because the area is beautiful and the moments we spend together are even more special.

Passing Moment

24 August 2026 · St. John’s

While waiting for a job interview, I had a coffee and observed the beautiful moments around me: friends enjoying their coffee in the sunshine and a runner passing by. I did not get the job, but I experienced a beautiful passing moment.

Warning

27 July 2025 · Katarina

In this city, even a small stencil on the street can carry its own political message. A simple image transforms public space into a place of expression and reflection.

Urban Contrast

22 September 2025 · Fotografiska

The first museum I visited in Stockholm—because there was no chance it could have been any other. I loved everything about it, and I am certain I will return many times for its wonderful exhibitions.

A Cleaner Choice

2 June 2025 · Kista centrum

From the very beginning, I was impressed to see a dedicated place for cigarette butts, designed in such a clever and playful way. Although I do not smoke, I dislike seeing them discarded in the streets. A small urban intervention can help create a cleaner city.

A Different Kind of Tree

16 April 2026 · Lillehammer, Kista

That day, I visited several exhibition spaces in the area. At one point, my eyes rested on this unusual structure that looked like a tree. It made me think that, in this city, art is always all around us.

Through the Circle

5 August 2025 · Svartsjö

A circle in a place where I never expected to find on a window opening onto nature and light. One of those small moments that made me stop, even in the middle of work, and simply look for a few seconds.

Face to Face

21 August 2025 · Stenhamra

While cleaning a house, I found myself face to face with a goldfish. We looked at each other as if it wanted to remind me that beautiful moments can be found everywher we only need to stop and notice them.

Stockholm Rain

Exact date not yet recorded · S:t Görans

The rain often reminds me of England. Having lived in Oxford, however, I now know that, whether it rains or snows, I prefer Stockholm. I only need to get used to the ice and then everything will be perfect.

Yellow Together

20 August 2026 · Lilla Essingen

At seven in the morning, on a rainy day, I saw these two wearing matching yellow raincoats. They looked so beautiful together that I could not help but stop and enjoy the moment.

Reflections

3 September 2025 · Kistamässan

During one of my long explorations, this hotel made me stop and admire its distinctive architecture. I later discovered that it has a beautiful roof garden, which I have yet to visit.

Still Water

13 August 2026 · Luxparken

Small details in a beautiful place: a boat, the sea and people enjoying a swim. A peaceful summer moment by the water.

A Line of Red

3 September 2025 · Kista

This is one of those moments when I think that, if I were starting again, I might become an architect. The architectural ideas I encounter here never cease to impress me.

Unexpected Wings

13 July 2025 · Husby

Walking from Husby towards Kista, I noticed these beautiful butterflies on a tree outside a school courtyard. From the beginning, one of the things that impressed me most was the small artistic interventions found in public spaces. Here, children wait to enter the school, play and move around a tree that has been transformed in such a simple and beautiful way. One of those small details of the city that made me stop and take a photograph.

Underground Colours

30 June 2025 · Solna centrum

It was one of the first metro stations I began using every day. There, I realised that beneath the streets of Stockholm lies a true art museum.

Holding the Sun

19 July 2025 · Strömparterren

Light and darkness in Stockholm create scenes that never cease to fill me with awe. For a moment, it seemed as though someone was holding the sun in their hands.

Unexpected Wings

13 July 2025 · Husby

Simple metal lines made me look upwards. Because even within the strict geometry of the city, the sky always has a beauty of its own.

A Sunday by the Water

31 May 2026 · Långholmen, Stockholm

Coffee, good company and a walk by the water after meeting with our Greek group in Stockholm. One of those simple days that make the city feel more familiar and luckily, something we get to enjoy quite often.

Autumn at KTH

1 October 2025 · KTH Royal Institute of Technology

Walking from the metro towards the English school where I worked, Stockholm revealed itself covered in deep red ivy. The city was changing its skin along with the season..
