Creative journey from Greece to Sweden

Stockholm first entered my life many years ago, when I visited the city to take part in creative workshops. I was impressed not only by the city itself, but also by the people I met, the exchange of ideas and the experience of working creatively in an international environment. It stayed with me as a very positive memory.

Many years later, during a particularly difficult period in my life, friends invited me to Stockholm for a few days simply to change my surroundings and spend some time away. I arrived expecting a short visit. Instead, within the first few days, I felt something unexpected: this city was calling me back.

Stockholm had changed, and so had I. I rediscovered a city that felt even more inspiring than I remembered its relationship with water and nature, its architecture, its light, its design and the rhythm of everyday life. By the end of that visit, the idea of living here no longer felt like just an idea.

In 2025, I made the decision to move from Thessaloniki to Stockholm and begin a new chapter of my life. Starting again in another country has brought challenges, discoveries and a completely different way of looking at everyday life.

Photography became a natural way for me to observe and understand my new surroundings, while design remained the creative language I had carried with me from Greece.

Little by little, these two worlds began to come together: my professional experience, my photography, my curiosity and my new life in Sweden.
